Welcome to the Mud and Saltwater Short Film Fest

Our Vision

To inspire you to explore, respect, enjoy and protect remarkable Roebuck Bay and the Kimberley region. Film is at the heart of the Mud and Saltwater Short Film Fest and we aim to showcase the best short films made by professional and amateur filmmakers about this truly remarkable part of the world.

Celebrate our region

The Mud and Saltwater Short Film Fest will be screening at the Mangrove Hotel on June 2, 2023, a premier event in the Broome Fringe Festival. Overlooking Roebuck Bay, this is the perfect location to screen short films about the bay, Broome and the Kimberley region on World Environment Day.
